Harriet I watched "Harriet", the main character was Minty/Harriet Tubman, known as Cynthia Erivo in real life. Basically the movie takes place in the past where black people was seen as animals or less and were slaves, but Harriet refuse to submise to her ""owners"" and that miserable life so she decided to escape. We follow her escaping and helping her folks do the same. I freaking love the movie and I recommend to everybody, because its gives a good inside look at how our society "use" to treat black people and uses God and "his words" to commit the greatest atrocities.
