'The Silent Patient' by Alex Michaelides kept me engrossed for the entire duration I was reading it, with each chapter I wanted more....I love psychological thrillers, especially where human emotions are explored, why we do things that we do...
The Plot
Alicia Berenson has been institutionalised for the murder of her husband and she has not spoken since the incident and her therapist Theo Faber is the only one who can help her.
All characters are explored, everyone has their own past with Alicia and hidden motives, hence you can't trust anyone. The twist surely took me by surprise, I had to read it twice just to confirm.
A must-read for anyone who loves thriller. I wonder why this isn't a movie yet..?
