“Around the World in 80 Days” is so well written and acted, PBS has drawn my wife and I into a TV realm we did not know existed. Their lineup of quality TV shows is remarkable. We’d discovered “Call the Midwife” and “All Creatures Great and Small” before seeing “Around the World in 80 Days.” Like the two shows before it, there was no disappointment and there was an exciting expectation waiting for the next episode. These shows simply command your attention and you become hopelessly involved, whether you want to or not. The incredible storytelling, combined with great actors and actresses, makes you realize what an invaluable prize PBS really is. Now what we’ve decided to do is invest in a Smart TV to take full advantage of everything PBS has to offer.
