This show has the narrative depth of a dinner plate. Anyone talking about how nuanced the storytelling comes off is telling on themselves. Between the claustrophobic and unsaturated cinematography, bizarre dialogue seemingly written by AI, and every cartoonishly characterized role mirroring your least favorite character in a horror movie, this show is a slog to get through. Add to that the fact that after an hour per episode you find that nothing has developed and the illogical decisions of each dingus you're watching is actively contributing to your loss of brain cells. My conspiracy theory of the week is that some exec stole a script from a particularly talented 7 year old and tried to pass this mess on as their own. This is a mystery drama about aliens that forgot to have a mystery or aliens. Good CGI, though.
