It made me feel uncomfortable to see a mother putting her precious baby through multiple MRI scans, this just doesn’t seem ethical. I’m sure she’s a great mum, and a driven scientist but perhaps there is a reason to why babies don’t have MRI scans done unless necessary. It almost kind of reminded me of a film called ‘My Sister's Keeper’. The scientist had to ‘’use’ her child to achieve her goal, if it was ethical then surely she could get a bigger sample for her study?
