I never watched the original ‘Helen’ so I initialling thought this was a unique premise for Bollywood to embrace. Love a survival movie. Although the resourcefulness and resilience was great to witness in the protagonist it was laced with disappointment due to its lack of urgency. I found it doubly infuriating when the thought of Mili eloping with a boyfriend was unspeakable when the thought of a her life and safety was secondary. The culture here should be vilified.
