Joe Buck and Troy Aikman are colorful and enjoyable. I never thought I would be interested in hearing what a former Dallas Cowboy had to say, but he is vastly better than the Monday Night Football color guys (Witten and Booger), who need speech lessons, and need to slow down and think about something worth saying instead of bombarding us with rapid-fire nonsense. By contrast, Troy Aikman has solid, interesting content, and he enunciates like he actually wants us to understand what he is saying. Joe Buck has always been a solid play-by-play guy. Buck and Aikman could use a raise in pay so they could afford to buy razors.

I turn the volume down when I watch Monday Night Football. The play-by-play guy is OK, but he doesn't have the mellow voice of Frank Gifford. By contrast, Joe Buck and Troy Aikman on Thursday Night Football are colorful, calm, informative, and enjoyable.
