I wasn't expecting an Oscar worth film but this movie was all over the place like it had drunk too much spiked eggnog. I truly liked the actors and the characters but the story didn't have enough focus. Chris Evans had a strange accent that would come and go, the sprinkling of profanity wasn't kid friendly or even necessary and girls in skimpy bathing suits just felt gratuitous. The movie should have aimed more at the kids level because adults don't mind a silly chuckle if the kids are enjoying themselves. I usually go to the cheaper times if it's a movie I have doubts about so I don't feel ripped off when the movie is subpar, like today.

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was because I got a little lost in the storyline. Books and movies frequently have multiple storyline but this got muttled in my brain. The different stories did get tied up but could have been written more sharply and maybe left the convict girl off. I'm not a writer so I don't know. I thought casting was spot on and I hope we see more series of Cross!

Somehow I missed this movie for years. I watched it last night and was ugly crying several times. It very sincerely portrays the different sides of grief and how people move on without dismissing the impact of the people that were lost. Don't miss the portrayal of Bobby Bowden as the West Virginia coach. I always admired Coach Bowden and this shows the character of the man. I highly recommend this movie, a young Matthew McConaughey, Anthony Mackie and David Strathairn and others turn in admirable performances. Heartfelt, positive and ultimately an uplifting movie telling an almost unimaginable story.

There's basically no point to the movie. You got a bunch of really talented actors with an incredibly wordy, empty script and no story. They start a build up but then it just fizzles like a wet firecrackers. I suggest folding a few loads of laundry so you time isn't a complete waste.

I have always been a fan of Michael Connelly's writing, his storyline is always compelling and his characters are well defined so I'm somewhat disappointed with season 2 of Lincoln Lawyer. The actors are fine but the plot is slow, dragging and the trial seemed to last forever. The twist and turns were just thrown in at the end of the series instead of evolving naturally in the story. There's a good story, capable actors and I hope they do better on the next installment.

Denzel is great as the anti-hero Robert McCall and you get the idea that McCall has found a safe haven in the beautiful Italian/Sicilian coastal city but there's always bad guys out there. I thought the story line was interesting and the filmed tied some loose ends but most of the time it's just McCall dispatching bad guys in the most inhumane way possible. The rental rates have dropped to $4.99 so much cheaper than the theater, so enjoy a movie night after the kids are in bed.

Believe the bad ratings. This is a ridiculous movie. I thought I was going to enjoy a cute, lighthearted movie but from the start constant foul language. Poor story line. I don't know why there's never any dialog anymore just cursing. I cut it off after 20 minutes. Don't waste your time.

Redfield is a funny, campy,enjoyable take on Dracula and his familiar. Nicholas Cage is terrific in yet another offbeat performance. I didn't know Nicholas Hoult but totally enjoyed watching him in this movie. Blood, gore but laughs and a pretty good time.

The movie is based on a true story and the main characters are/were real people. Wonder acting all around Jamie Foxx and Tommy Lee are always wonderful but supporting characters were equally as good. So glad to see an uplifting, moving movie. The story line draws you in and keeps you anxious for the end result. Very much worth seeing.

Having seen many of M.Night's movies this one is disappointing. Lots of gore, not a convincing plot and a story line that seemed to drag. I miss his usual plot twists and feel like I could have skipped this movie altogether.
