Mori's Family Adventure is a powerful and positive book depicting a fun, adventurous, beautiful Black family. I recently purchased Mori's Family Adventure at the Black Comic Book Festival in Harlem MLK Weekend. I brought my 3 year old son there and we got to take pictures with the Lovely author, Geiszel Godoy. She was so sweet, down to earth, and beautiful. Inside and out. When I got home that night with my son to read him his new book. He was in awe and eager to touch are revisit pages. It brought me joy to hear my son say he wants to visit South Africa someday. I personally loved when Mori asked his mother "Where do Animals come from? and his mother replied "They come from God, they are God's creation." Alot of pre-k reading is secular and doesn't incorporate the belief of a higher power. That was definitely a glow point for me. Long story short, I will be purchasing more books from Geiszel Godoy. Great Work Queen! Keep up the Blessed Work!
