Like the way "once upon a time in hollywood" shares a tribute to the lovely late Sharon Tate, "Thirakkatha" is a classic love letter by renjith to the gorgeous late Srividhya. The climax still haunts in many ways thinking of the pain the actress had to go through. Movie is well altered,especially the climax where the actress lays her last sleep on her lover's chest whereas the reality was far from that. It is said that Srividhya had to suffer the isolation for 2 years prior to her death due to cancer.

One of the best films i've ever watched in malayalam cinema. " An Aesthetic Masterpiece " What a concept...What a Movie...It still remains in you many ways after a watch. I'd give it a 9/10 star.

Every time I hear the song 'Aalilathaliyumay varu nee', I remember how much I love this man. Listen, not to Indrajith. To that character of his, to a poor man named Dr. Arun Kumar. What a fluffy character creator who shattered all alpha male concepts. On the one hand, Malayalam cinema celebrated its toxic masculinity , on the other hand, it was like beating up a girl you love, calling her away, drinking toddy on Tulavarsha nights and taking the same heroine and trampling her. To men who are as calm as the sea with waves, who do not quarrel with anyone even for love, I'm jealous of him for showing me that going down is so natural. Or maybe we just don’t know how to fall in love quietly. Either to storm or to be the storm, we have learned so much about love. Tenderness is something we are not so familiar with. Observe these lyrics "mēlemāḷikayil ninnuṁ⠀ rathamēṟi vannu maṇimāran⠀ maṇavāṭṭiyāya varamañjuḷāṅgiyuṭe⠀ svantamāya nimiṣaṁ" Look, the acquisitions are still alien to him. He still owns it. its a great feel good movie for all type of audiences especially targetted at families.the movie is a fun and warm flick and i personally believe the sequel can't get better than this..
