I've never read the books so had no worries of being disappointed by it not staying true to the source material. However i feel like i must have watched a completely different film to those leaving 5 star reviews. Terrible script, massive plot holes and it all just goes nowhere. I hope they don't make a second however if they did i wouldn't be wasting the time watching it. The story as a whole and the universe have promise so i hope somewhere down the line a competent studio pick it up for a reboot.
