I read the book and anxiously awaited release of this movie. I was not disappointed. Well done with Hillbilly Elegy, Ron Howard. ! And to the actors bravo. This movie was about the complexities and cruelties and love of a family that might transcend to me, to you to so many abused children who grow into adults for whom the struggle to survive abuses lingers in the shadows of our lives forever. Period.
