I watch this just because it looked cute. But my kids ended up actually watching. My 11-year-old son actually ended up feeling emotionally invested in a movie that some people described as a romcom and can usually much rather be playing video games. So for that reason alone I think it’s well written just not for the audience the people of anticipated. It’s written very much like diary of a wimpy kid or dear dumb diary days or Any of those other movies the kids between the ages of nine and 13 I really enjoyed reading these days. Honestly I thought it was very sweet. I understand how People could claim that a young woman who clearly comes from an environment of privilege replace someone Playing the victim could be true. But I didn’t read it that way at all just seems like a kid who does he’ll feel like they’re struggling as most kids do. But sometimes people watch movies as a form of escapism not every move he hast to have a big political platform. It’s really good and underrated. I would consider it a little more of a family movie and a teen movie. Reading it as a teen maybe you’re expected to be a bit funnier and more offensive as a family movie actually makes a lot of sense.
