Is this movie inspired by Percy Jackson and the Lighting Thief book? If you read the book the watch the movie you'll see how DIFFERENT the movie is from the book. Sure, there can be a little difference between the movie and the book. But what they did was TOO DIFFERENT. For example, where is Clarisse? And wasn't Poseidon suppose to CLAIM Percy? In the movie the just knew who his father was. In addition, they also got the plot wrong. They are looking for the Zeus's lighting bolt not 3 pearls. And in the book wasn't the pearls given by a naiad? Also the pearls bring you back to the ocean not Mount Olympus. And where in the world is Luke's scar??? Movie makeup is and can do better than this. AND WHY IS PERCY 16 YRS OLD NOT 12???? Lastly, where did Mr.D go? Seriously, read the book. Don't watch the movie.
