Horribly inaccurate portrayal of how the characters developed after shippuden. Every character from the original naruto seems to have there abilities nerfed. Fight scenes as well. The episode and overall progression of the show is very slow. I believe the writers for Boruto are trying to have the fan base fall more for the boruto characters before they kill off naruto.
