Not for the faint at heart because there is a steep learning curve mostly in regards to the UI. X4 is basically two overlapping games in one. It's a open ended free roam first person space exploration, mining, empire building game with a strategy trade game built in. The game map and UI feels like it came from the 1980's while the space universe and ships have similarities (visually) to Star Citizen. However there is no planet exploration but ships are easier to obtain. The controls are limited and awkward at times but thankfully the game is singleplayer so you can save it. And save often. After you figure out some of the controls and how the game works, it is fun to decide how you want to play.

Although Creativerse falls within the same genre as Minecraft, it's quite an underrated game and arguably better than MC. Creativerse has some very polished looking graphics and slick building options. In the paid version (Pro), it includes a fantastic creative mode along with a massive amount of objects and building materials to choose from and even paint to your liking. Overall, I think Creativerse Pro is especially worth buying if you are into buildiing and customization.
