I'm a fan of Power Pop and I'm always listening to hear new artists playing this genre with an ear for the old, but adding their own take. To find a band that can do this amongst the plethora of lack lustre music offered in this day and age is a joy to find. The album Everything Harmony, by two brothers called The Lemon Twigs, is that album. I am thrilled with this 2023 release and can't wait to add it to my music collection, while awaiting their new offering for 2024, A Dream is All We Know. Just when I thought beautifully crafted, lyrical, harmonies had disappeared from today's tunes, these guys have come up with wonderful music that is produced, written, engineered, and played as well as performed with a total grasp of the legacy of Power Pop. This has been a gift for my tired old ears, I hope that this will be a gift for all of you willing to take the time to give them a listen.
