Joker Folie à Deux is not what we'll expected...same as the first one where the story which takes us journey to this guy Arthur what he gone, betrayed and lost we made to root for him, where in the end Arthur become joker, and we all expected to see rampage of Harley and joker or atleast the justification of injustice with a courtroom and a another hard hitting story, but after few days of watching I was wondering what director try to do, he just had a great idea to make how arthur will feel about it, arthur thinks all attention which he didn't get over all years he got but when he realised all this for joker not for who he is and what he gone through, I'll not say made him realise but made him to through the joker away and he lost most important person which he thinks she came for arthur but not really and in the end he without joker he just become powerless and suffering most, and how he believes all the violece of joker in first part they just made it musically which became tedious over time but still the music helps arthur to express anger as a fantasy with a lighter version, I'm not trying to defend or saying it's music better than first I'm saying it's a different movie different scenarios we need arthur to win as a audience, but if the arthur if exists in real society he might covered by sensationalism and identiy crsis and end up like same as the end of movie...yes it's tiring but it gets you a idea of how can we reconstruct a character in a many different way, director can simply make a story majority would accept but instead he gave him a pretty boring and a different scenarios which not meant for all...as i said the character and motive are all at loseend it feels we can feel the idea of todd director but can't engage because of many lacking plots are left hanging which would made the audience to believe the choices
