I struggle to grasp what was so wrong with Billy’s childhood (apart from his Mother dying young) that makes him so miserable + unable to enjoy his life with his lovely wife + 5 amazing daughters?
Acting was undoubtedly excellent but too much melancholy glances + unexplained grief to keep you interested in the plot.
The whole nun, convent, unmarried pregnant girls has been done countless times + this film brought nothing new to the table.
