I suffer from PMDD so am aware of the effects fluctuating hormone. However, over the past few years my symptom's (physical and mental) have become worse, impacting my life on all levels.
I suspected I was perimenopausal, but doctors and specialists thought otherwise. Advising me it was all normal and that I was too young, I’m 46 years old.
I persisted, did some research, and eventually found the right GP, specialist and this enlightening, informative and refreshing book.
I can’t thank Kaz Cooke enough for writing this book. I felt so alone but your book made me realise I wasn’t. So many other women are going through the same thing, although silently because nobody talks about it.
Please read this book, please talk to your family and friends so we can stop the stigma of being middle aged woman.

P.S. Women’s health issues desperately need more funding and research as highlighted in this book. Maybe if we all start speaking up, we will be seen and heard.
