After the disappointment of TLJ, my son and I were pleasantly surprised. JJ Abrams does a nice job of fixing the problems from SW VIII. He didn't portray Luke like the curmudgeon Rian Johnson made him out to be. And, there weren't any cringeworthy moments like when Luke milked that grotesque beast. However, it would have been best if JJ could have directed the entire trilogy. I enjoyed every moment of TROS. It was filled with lots of action, good humor, suspense, surprises, new characters, great acting and emotion. I found myself tearing up several times. I love that this movie included elements from each of the previous SW movies. I can't wait to see TROS again. This may be my favorite SW movie of all!
