It was a great movie until the end. I literally walked out way before the credits rolled. I actually wanted my money bacc. Fr. Basically it was all for nothin. THE ENDING WAS DUMB AF! PERIOD! I'LL NEVER WATCH ANOTHER MOVIE BY THIS PRODUCER AGAIN! Like seriously. Did she run out of her budget. Because it was dumb af!

I just love the history of Oakland. The whole Bay Area. Being From Fresno Ca. I visit often. Based on that being apart of the story line. I Loved it. On point & on topic...

So Oakland... So different from every city in California. So different from every city in the nation. Yet, so similar when it comes to what all minorities in every city have to face an go through. This is well written, an all those behind this, hit the nail on the head. This is art, an expression of happiness, pain an struggle. Real life shyt. I love this show. The world needs to see this. Oh yeah THIZZ IN PEACE #MacDre Yeeee!

I only finished it because I can't start something an not finish. Long story short. Don't waste your time. All the hype for a let down.

My wife made me watch it. Now she has to watch B.M.F on Starz with me. Win win I guess.

Kerry Washington made it really hard to watch this movie. Way, way to dramatic. I couldn't take her serious at all. I literally liked everything else about the movie, It was just her. Another actress would've killed that role. She wasn't the right fit.

If you seen the first one when you were young, you'll keep comparing the two as you watch it. Enjoyable, yes. But lacking so much. Seems rushed, an lacks a believable storyline. I'm give it 5⭐ based on me being able to relive my childhood.
