Grand ascension of the revered Sleuth
For long Feluda was hiding behind the weak shoulders of old actors. This young chap is unabashed, unfaltered and a whipping return to form for Feluda. Strijit Mukherjee did not waste any time on fancy shots and dramatic takes. The focus was completely on the Detective and the chemistry of the three musketeers. The three have done complete justice to their characters. Afterall let us not forget, the source material is gold. Hope they can keep up this exceptional standard in their future endeavors.

Gave me a migraine with the constant stereotypical African tribal music. Most of the movie feels like an amature youtube blogger tour of Africa. No mystery whatsoever in a detective movie I tell you. Atleast nothing solved by the protagonist! The entire trilogy is a wasted opportunity. The real mystery here is how the director of such a pathetic trilogy could make the excellent Feluda series?

Good actors can make any movie worth watching. But that doesn't mean everything else has to be an utter disappointment. I wish people would stop saying, since it is a Bengali movie dont expect great visual effects. Not to mention the visual effects are laughably bad, but why go for vfx if you dont have the budget. There are many ways to make a movie without visual effects. There are other problems also, like inconsistent screenplay and abrupt unremarkable ending. I am an ardent Satyajit Ray fan and I wish someone did justice to his visions, not forcibly make movies.
