I wish I could give it 0 stars. Not sure what all these 5 star reviewers are raving about. Nothing new, just violence, song, some emotional friendship-love-caste-political sequence, rinse and repeat. Predictable and boring to say the least. At the start, there is talks of coal and such, but has no significance in the movie whatsoever.
Nani is a far better actor and has great potential than making these kind of movies. Dhikshith did justice to his character, but Samudrakani, Sai Kumar are wasted with not much screen time. The antagonist' acting is good, but again resembles the psychotic character in Pushpa played by Fahad Faasil. Keerthy Suresh acting has been the same throughout (not a big fan of her) but I definitely will appreciate the energy with which she performed the dance sequences. Songs are meh though. Climax is again a gore-action sequence where Nani takes on literally 100s of bad guys with the whole village just standing around and watching him cut through those bodies with multiple sickles and axes.
Of late movies such as KGF 2, Vikram, Dhamaka, Pathan - have been getting high ratings and are considered to have overhauled the box office charts, but these are utter disappointments - noise, violence, nonsensical songs and no real story line/content. Pushpa has been the standout among the recent releases - good story line, not much violence as compared to the above movies and of course Allu Arjun carried it well until the end and then enter Fahad Faasil - that was awesome, hopefully Pushpa 2 doesnt resort to more violence, etc and scripts a good gripping story to keep the audiences engaged.
Nani should get back to making movies like Pilla Zamindar, Shyam Singha Roy - suits his style of acting. Wonder how HIT 3 is going be with Nani playing the lead.
