Love Hitchcock, but this movie was just kinda of dumb and slow, with a weak plot. Not really a love story, not a thriller, or suspense. Neither Marnie, nor Mark Rutlands character are believable. Doesn't work for a modern audience in my opinion. Might have something to do with cultural sensibilities in the early 60's vs today.
