Im writing this after the 5th episode has aired so my opinion is only up until this point. I have loved Star Wars my whole life and like most fans I know almost everything deep legends and lore included. I was very upset with the holes in the lore brought up in the first few episodes, Primarily with Ki -Adi-Mundi being in the 4th episode revealing his cannon age as wrong and one of the most crucial lines in Star Wars history from the Phantom menace(which got Qui-Gon killed) saying they have not seen a Sith in a thousand years. I will admit we as fans may have jumped the gun by bashing the show for this very reason and after the newest episode it looks like no one will survive long enough to share this Sith even existed. Proving Ki-Adi correct still. I also have realized whats being made now is largely to introduce this beautiful perfect amazing franchise to the younger generation. In no world should Disney be trying to push their gay, race, and feminism agendas on us fans or children watching but take away those atrocities and what you get is a new ear of fans. The fighting is just as they said: up to par with the prequels duels and choreography. Seeing how powerful the Sith are from a pure physical standpoint is something we have not seen much of on screen and I found it mesmerizing. The Jedi have become so arrogant and narrow minded they have no way to counter a saber style so animalistic and brutish. Although no matter how you put it the Jedi are the good guys, we get to see how good does not mean righteous. They are a major political group in the galaxy and just like all politicians they cover up anything that may hurt the cause, even keeping secrets from their own. And just because they believe strongly in their own teachings, other may not. This perspective of a possible ex padawan claiming hypocrisy from the Jedi and wanting nothing more the to wield his power to the fullest is such an intriguing concept. Regardless of the idiot Leslye Headland and the dumb comments and woke decisions she makes in OUR, THE FANS franchise we love and hold so dearly to our hearts. I think the 5th episode is one of the best pieces of Star Wars/Storytelling we have got since George Lucas sold. I hope others are realizing this so more content thats strong like this keeps being produced. I really could write a book on my feelings of this show, episode and Star Wars in general. Just like I am sure most of you can too, but please try to enjoy this beautiful world building we have never seen before. PLEASE COMMENT AND DISCUSS WITH ME I WOULD LOVE TO TALK STAR WARS.
