Dune 2 is a great film and cinematography is astounding. The movie does not fail to be boring and keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole way through. The depiction of the cruelty of the Harkonnens is done perfectly and the movie itself truly displays the power struggle in that universe. The storyline sticks majorly similar to the book however I was disappointed in how they made the relationship between Paul and Chani shallow and a bit like a teenager's relationship instead of the deep bond they have in the books. If you are a fan of the books you may be disappointed at some of the inaccuracies and lack of character development however it is still worth the watch, after all, it is an adaptation.
