Found this book ok but rather disturbed by the lack of recognition that these girls had been raped by the police officers especially Bain though I realise this was part of the plot to get the ana to talk. It still could have been handled more sensitively and it felt like the author was virtually saying that ana had a choice. The fact the girls were sexually abused seems to be rather downplayed especially the trauma that this would have engendered. Very surprised to see this in a modern novel so would not recommend it.
