Meh...overacted and a little frenetic. Documentary much more interesting.

Hilariously uncomfortable and sooo timely!

Terrific and encompassing film about a music icon—living legend, if you will. There is no one, believe it—no one in the music community, black politics, Hollywood entertainment that Q does not know. He is the female Oprah, loved and lauded. I particularly loved seeing his earlier years, working with the big band and jazz greats, Ella, Sarah, et al. What a life this man has lived, and I lived it vicariously through him in this film. Two hours was just the proverbial tip of the iceberg!

Somehow I didn’t see the ‘other’ side of Bundy in this film. Although it is primarily a chronology of his and liz’s Relationship which seems real, there is none of the horrific side of Ted showing through. So as a result his personality comes over as bland and pretty normal. Except for the Florida courtroom scenes, it’s a rather maudlin love story that compartmentalizes the true horror of this man.

His knowledge of football is amazing! He is funny, charming and sometimes hilarious. It’s a fun show!
