It was an amazing movie. It's a shame that 90% of the bad reviews consist of primarily backlash against the lesbian kiss. Honestly, as a kid I wouldn't have thought twice about two people kissing. But the moment their parent makes a big deal about it, that's when it becomes a problem. I adore the representation and I'm incredibly thankful it was included, even as a minuscule plot point. There is a ton of wonderful symbolism (SPOILERS)
including the fact that Buzz's worst enemy was his future self. I love how that symbolizes that his past decisions--his past conscience--was his greatest enemy. Also, the fact that the same argument he used at the beginning of the movie against Alissa Hawthorne was used against him by his own future self. It was just beautifully done, it's truly a masterpiece.
