I love it! I am a huge fan of the book(s) and world and i was, as others have also mentioned, skeptical of another foray to middle earth. I was worried it might look amazing for the money, but actually be awful. I was so surprised. The casting is genius to be honest, and the script had the right balance of Tolkien lore and humour..It "feels" right, if that makes sense? My only, very small criticism? The over-pronounciation of any names and places.... Every time anyone says Galadriel, they seem to put on a really heavy accent... rolling the rr's... can be quite distracting...! But, this is minor and a 'me' problem to be honest. I am just so happy that once again someone has been true to the feel of Middle Earth.... they're lots of individual stories within the main plot, much like the books are... although this is set before those times. The upshot is that it makes me want to reread all my Tolkien books... which is just such a great feeling. Apologies, I'm not very good at reviews.... or writing how i feel!
