This ‘Breakthrough’ is a hugely saccharine POS for the deeply religious. Not at all what HBO described, and so disgusting I could only manage the first 20 minutes before finding out what the mix up was and turning this vomitous pile of garbage off. It’s a shame I can’t give negative stars. And yes the other raters are correct about the acting, etc. In the Bible Belt this movie will do great, just keep this crud away from me! The other movie, the one I expected to watch, was ‘Breakthrough’ in English but it’s actual name is ‘Preboj’, made in 2019 and is a Slovenian film with German subtitles.
