Ok.. to start it’s definitely not The Expanse; the best syfy of my generation. I stumbled on this new syfy show after shedding a mountain of tears that the Expanse wasn’t going to extend their series. A true tragedy as I digress. Yes… the Ark is definitely trite using plots and story lines from BSG, Star Trek, Passengers and the Expanse to include the mysterious alien substance on board. Despite the cheesy acting and costume designs, I must admit I find the show entertaining. If you can stomach watching past the first few episodes and the storyline, the character development does try to mature. If nothing else, despite the trite plot line, the characters do develop. I’m willing to give it a chance even if it’s for the comic relief. But PLEASE BRING BACK THE EXPANSE!! Sasa Ke beltowalla!
