At first glance, the show is what you'd expect, a drama-filled love reality TV series. Young "Hot" singles are grouped together to go through trial and error within relationships to hopefully find the one. The show is rather entertaining and has just the right amount of cringe. However, The show's diversity is LACKING. This show is far from reality from which it tries to exclaim. Unfortunately, this is where the show blindly suffers from. The newer seasons don't even try to add diversity. They will throw two people of color on the cast then argues their a diverse show. The show doesn't only lack in diversity of races and ethnicities it lacks within body diversity, The show feels as if one body type is attractive (Being toned and fit). Even though this body type is sought out for. This body type isn't the only beautiful thing. The last problem of this show is the horrible editing of women of color. This show constantly edits the black women as last picked and weirdly edits them. This is constantly done within the show, this is where I then stopped watching this show. As a woman who isn't African American, i can stand to watch the show and see them get treated poorly.
This show WOULD be great if they address many issues within it. However, they ignore them and continue to feed their views trash reality TV.
