I've only watched one episode and plan to watch the rest but what jumps out at me is the fact that the darkest Sister is also the thickest Sister, the one who does not quite have herself together, the one that uses the most foul language...hmmm??? Hence the 3 star rating. I'm going to give Harlem a chance because any program that features my people and my New York City not only a backdrop to the story but as another character in the story is one that I don't want to miss. However, my initial impression is that "Angie" is not a character but a caricature...at least so far. I'm hoping that will change and I can give a resounding 5 star rating.
