Carter Francisco

This movie lacks any depth beyond the characters that are presented. Why did 9 awake so long after the others? Where did characters like 7 go when they left the church? How did they survive? Why would 9 complete the task that the "Beast" was trying to accomplish? The movie seems like a very cool concept. However, it just seems like they cut half of the plot out. Would've been the same story if it were an hour shorter. The art style and character design, however, is enjoyable and very Tim Burton-esk.
