I want my money back. By “twists” do they mean a whiplash of plothole after plothole? All of the reddit comments I saw offered better endings than the actual one. Also… Spoiler! Such sloppy storytelling. For example, the MC cleans up a bloody scene only to burn the place down, but then leaves their car abandoned in the driveway (not wiped down at all), and leaves a witness too. Huh? Shame on you NYT for naming this a best seller. Between the flawed diction of the character Calvin (he speaks perfect english until midway when he suddenly starts using rural diction like, “give me one of them beers” and the myriad bloopers, I’m not sure this book even had an editor.
