Firstly, I applaud the writers for their boldness and imagination. The way they pushed everyday, awkward interactions to the most ridiculous and stupid extremes made many sketches both hilarious and relatable. The problem is, it only worked some of the time. Unfortunately, I felt that roughly half of the sketches relied mostly on their utter weirdness to carry them through, and I often found myself cringing in disappointment by the abrupt and unresolved endings. Many of the sketches held my interest more out of novelty and curiosity than anything else; an unexpected ending is often a good thing in comedy, but it should at least be relevant and reward the viewer for paying attention to the first half! Now that I know how the sketches end, I think a second watch of this show would be quite arduous, and many sketches would be insta-skips. Don't get me wrong, there's a handful of gems here, for sure, but they are hit and miss. Worth a watch if you're in a mood for awkwardness, absurdity and lots of unhinged shrieking, though!
