Claire Foy as young Queen Elizabeth, Matt Smith as young Prince Philip, Jared Harris as King George VI, John Lithgow as Sir Winston Churchill, I could go on and on about the amazing cast from a eason 1 & 2 it was outstanding. When season 3 came I didn’t no what to think about the new casting but they appeared more colder which I’m sure was on purpose but Olivia Colman played her role perfectly, I also was impressed with Jason Watkins as PM Mr Wilson, and of course Gillian Anderson as Margaret Thatcher was great.
Josh O’Connor as Prince Charles, first of all Prince Charles never looked so good lol, but going into season 4 looking at the relationship between Charles and Princess Diana was so heart breaking but Emma Corrin done an amazing job, but I can’t help feel they made her out to be self obsessed, they didn’t show her back round or show much with her beloved boys, there was a lot that I feel they left out that really told the true story of the people’s Princess and the reason she is so loved then and all these years later, of course the relationship between Philip and camila was hard to watch as it seemed like they plotted everything, like they laughed at Diana behind her back which is heartbreaking to no that, that was true and not fiction.. but I watched it for Diana and I must say she brought heart, love, relatability, compassion, style and grace to a family that never new her worth but the public did then and now x
