One of the best books I have ever read. The only meh thing was the pacing which I too admit, takes the characters forever to escape. Other than that amazing characters, storyline and action. I heard someone say that there were no good female characters but i honestly believe the Teresa is a pretty good character if you are excluding what she does in the next book. And what else do you expect, to have multiple good girl characters in a book with just boys. I can go on and on about everything good about this book but all you need to know that it is amazing and unpredictable in the best way.

Great idea and writing but after that there isn't a single good thing worth mentioning. The story never moves, all the characters are uninteresting, the story is bland and the pacing once again sucks. Whenever I read a good book I usually feel sucked in the story and I can feel everything happening in front of my eyes. But with Matched there may have been good writing but it was very boring and I felt like everything they needed to say was in the first couple chapters and stretched to 3/4 of the book.
