If the subject weren’t so tragic, I would say that this film is a well made and highly entertaining action-adventure film. The acting is superb across the board and the story line is powerfully supported by the set, composition, and sound. However, the subject is tragic, far more so than I realized before going to see it. During the film, my heart was breaking, and I found myself alternating between tears, prayer, and anger. Part of the anger is that the news media, for having paid so little attention to the horrific practice of child trafficking, including its customers. It’s almost as if the MSM has become immune to perversion through its incessant condoning of behaviors that for millennia have been considered dark and sinful. The Sound of Freedom should cause all of to ponder the the twisted culture we are supporting, and are conditioned not to stand against.
