Sweetie the Lion

I'm going to be completely honest but this movie was a bit disappointing. Still, a good movie and entertaining but there are a bit too many bumps on the road for me to completely ignore it and say "Phineas and Ferb is the most AMAZING show and is just *chef's kiss*". In order for something to grow, there's a need to be criticism. I'm a HUGE Phineas and Ferb fan so I really want this show to leave a good mark because truly, it deserves all the good reviews that it's been getting. Just that, not everything is going to be perfect. 1. Too many "Songs". I feel like the songs are just unnecessary and cut in at moments that really don't need it. or when they are about to sing and don't,. Truthfully 2. Jokes? I really didn't exactly laugh while watching this and to tell the truth, I really didn't see a whole lot of clever, witty lines that I usually get with this series. On the other hand, these jokes were awkward and repeat way too often. 3. Pacing feels off, Not going to list because this is kind of a short review but if y'all watched the movie, the movie is kind of slow at the beginning and middle to some degree. It's really towards the End that this movie starts to become "really interesting". 4. Characters feel Off (To a Slight Degree) Candace feels "wrong" with her reasoning in this movie. Yeah, it would've been justifiable at the beginning and middle of the series but the show ended in 2015, and she spends plenty of time getting to know her brothers and appreciating their presence. There's probably more, but I would like to say, I did enjoy this movie because the inner child in more adores this song. If you haven't seen it, watch it. Please don't let my review make you not want to check it out because it's still a good watch. Thank you!
