A really brilliant and creative movie - very difficult to describe. It shows how a well-meaning teacher and her idealistic students in a private school descend into the irrational and become a cult. I found it hypnotic and often funny, though I wouldn't describe it as a comedy - if it is then its equally a tragedy. Mia Wasikowska as the true-believer teacher is riveting - I couldn't help but feel sympathetic toward her although her actions were monstrous. Wonderful music and set designs. Love it.
