I first read the book, then saw the movie. Personally, I thought the movie was great, but like all movies based of books, there were things in the movie that wasn't in the book and vise versa. Also, most of the actors weren’t very good, and that kinda made the movie cheesy, which is sad because the story is so powerful and inspirational. Overall I still liked the movie and will watch it again. I do recommend that you read the book. It has become one of my favorites
