The show was beautifully done, every scene and character pushing the story forward. I don't agree with the people who say it sugarcoated racism, sexism, and homophobia because it definatley did not. This is an ALTERNATE history piece finally providing some ounce of justice and respect to all the aspiring colored actresses, actors, writes, directors, and any other marginalised group that was never represented in Hollywood. Its a masterpiece screenplay and I want to thank Ryan Murphy for creating a beautiful ensemble of characters with important stories and even more powerful voices, and thank you for giving us the happy ending we never got.

This show is absolutley incredible. Every scene is riveting and has you starving for the truth. The reviews from "accredited" sources that say otherwise are straight up lying to you. They claim the show is biased and sympathizes with Koresh too much... maybe because this is the story of Waco through the Branch Davidians perspective? And yes, I said the Branch Davidians perspective and NOT David's as the show is literally based on one of the survivors AND an FBI agent who gave us legitimate insight into how badly the FBI and the government screwed this up. The show is beautifully casted, wonderfully acted, raw,emotional and eye opening. Yes it gets you to sympathize with a man, not a monster. Sure, he wasn't always right in his ways, ie. marrying 14 year olds, but keep in mind he did so legally under Texas State law so THAT'S who you should really be having the problem with.

I watched this show the day it came out. It was the best decision I've ever made (other than choosing to watch Sense8). Its an intricate yet original story of belief, faith, and loyalty. I praise this show, it is dangerously ahead of its time and not talked about enough. It deserves an award.

I really don't see why this show is getting bad reviews. Sure, it doesn't equate to the cult classic movie it's based on, 'Heathers', but it does a damn good job at representing teen angst, isolation, self-esteem, and depression. People say it puts minorities, like members of the LGBTQ community, people of color, and body positivity in villanous positions. That's good! Finally people who have never had a voice are finally given enough power, prestige, and representation to be scene stealers! I've fallen in love with the Heather's toxic attitudes and am so happy their personas weren't given to basic blond's because this diversity is jaw dropping in the best of ways. I praise this show and am dying for more, and you should be too. Honestly, I think all of the kickback is coming from the critic's sense of adulthood; teens relate to this hyperexaggerated show and understand its black humor. Give it a chance and don't give in to the negative reviews.
