This TV Series is beyond a 5/5, it is without a doubt my favourite TV Show of all time, and I fear it will never be replaced. While it definitely has flaws, like all others shows, but the sheer emotion weaved throughout the 5 seasons brings me to uncontrollable tears multiple times a season, and continues to do that on my 7th and 8th rewatches. If I could rewatch a show forever, this would be it. The acting is amazing, and the storylines are stellar. The idea of a lesbian couple raising a family of foster children is amazing, and it is the most heartful show of all time. While some plot lines are a little strange (foster siblings being in love), the good outweighs the bad tenfold. If I could recommend just one show to everyone in the world to watch, this would be. The music is amazing, the cast is topnotch and I just cannot describe how ethereal the show is. Watch it now, and take in every second because I would give up so much to watch this show for the first time again.

Just watched this series in a day off from work. I didn't think I would love it this much. I have not watched the original movies, nor do I intend too, however as a stand alone TV series this was really impressive. The minor insect sort of vibe was weird, however they always made it clear that they didn't see each other as family so I am willing to look past it. I think in the 21st century, this plotline doesn't work as well but can see why the producers kept it to keep in line with the original. I absolutely hated Caroline, but in the way that you want to hate her. I think she is evil, and added so much to the series. Her background with her mother not loving her, and a messed up childhood was enough to make me feel sorry for her until episode 6, but from then on I hated her but like I loved that I hated her. Lucien was a hard one, I found him attractive, but on occasion he did look more like a masc lesbian which just wasn't the vibe for a fuckboy. But I guess that checks out because I feel like the point was that he isn't that way at heart, but instead uses it as a cover up for his terrible childhood. I liked him enough all of the way through, the acting was superb, and even the final scene with his stepmother wasn't enough for me to hate him because I am just glad her fucked over Caroline. Scott and Blaise were a great couple to start off with, and I think Scott is such a realistic queer character. He got with an obviously queer guy, and never truly hid it, but was still coming to terms with being gay. He was my favourite character on the show, which his dumb jock archetype being molded into a queer vibe. Blaise on the other hand I hate, I liked him at the start, but he got so bad and I hated him as much as Caroline. If you don't have money, then don't go to that school and be in that sororotiy. At the end of the day he did the wrong this and I hate him, but thasts as good thing because I like hating on characters. Annie was a great character, who stuck true to her morals, I was a bit shocked when she agreed to be taped but oh well. She was just great overall. Cece was the other main main character and I loved her. She split off from the main cast for most of it and gave a parralel storyline that was seperate enough to feel like there were multiple storylines but still improtatn enough thast it intertwined with the main storyline. I love her stupid but not stupid archetype and can;t wait for her to stand up for herself in the future. Overall this series shocked me, and I think while it is incredible unrealistic, it sits in the sort of category like Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Pretty Little Liars, etc. where its rich kids, but we all know it is unrealsitic af and love it anyway. I like the setup for the new season and really hope it gets renewed

It's funny reading all of these reviews. I myself am an avid reader of the series. Although I am quite grown up now, and do not EXACTLY remember everything that happened. I too was disappointed in the exclusion of Ms Dodds epic scene described in the books. And it's interesting from someone who doesn't remember every detail that I didn't mind that Annabeth got percy to be claimed. Like it's little things like that, that you haters think it so important but it's not. He was claimed, that's all that matters. And we have to remember that RICK RIORDAN was one of thr executives produces on the show. So all of these decision came by him as well. And he heavily endorses the show too. So any of these changes to the show that y'all are complaining about, are essentially changes that Rick himself is ok with because looking back on his work he recognises which scenes aren't as important. We need to look at the bigger picture, it is a tv series adaptation. They can't afford to include everything. It happens in every series or movie. Move on! And everyone complaining about the actors who play each person. Just be quiet. Annabeth being black changes nothing, if you were a real fan you would know that Rick HIMSELF picked Leah to play annabeth. Because for Rick, he sees that what a person looks like doesn't matter for his characters, its what they portray in words and emotions. Ok, Disney isn't just including people for diversity. They picked them because they deserve to role. And the fact that you would even think that, makes you racist. I really hope anyone who reads this, has a look at themselves and the series and realises that it is on the first two episodes. And that you can't say it's an awful series. It has its flaw for sure. But so does everything. Even the books. So atop being racist, stop complaining so much. I get that it is a review page, but if you are a real percy jackson fan you would NEVER bag out Rick ripsdrans work. The original movies were awful, but Rick didn't create them. He created this, and I support him. I love this so far xx

This film as a 10/10. It veers away from typical Hollywood movies and instead crafts such a beautiful prequel. There isn't a clear villain in the series which is amazing to see but it is still a villain story. As long as you don't go into the film thinking it will be like the other hunger games. It's not. It doesn't try to be. Have an open mind and you will love it.
