Captivating visuals, graphics are flawless. Team needs to be applauded for making a Hollywood standard movie. All post apocalyptic or sci-fi films have similar settings and characters. So instead of comparing with other movies, recognize the efforts. Connecting it with mythology was the best part. So many cameos from so many stars of the industry. Story telling with a comedy touch, made the 3 hours fly by. Eagerly waiting for the 2nd part.

2 stars for the efforts. Coverting a book to a movie is always difficult. The script was all over the place. The characters were all-over the place. Doesn't explain why maduranthaka keeps changing parties. The one person who knows all secrets is in all places all the time to tell everyone the secrets. A map showing which place is where, who is where would have been helpful. Pandyans are trying to kill you but the prince will travel alone on an elephant. Too many flaws, very poor narrative.
