Barbie was an eye-opening, relatable movie. It shares the rollercoasters of being a woman and/or someone who doesn't seem to fit in a "normal" world. The part where Barbie finds herself and has a mother-daughter talk with Ruth made the whole theater cry. Many women, girls, and children don't look into how much their mothers do for them. Even those who don't have that relationship, still understand the message and may crave that connection and hearing Ruth's words may have helped them learn about themselves.
