It's case of too much hype and guess, expectations on my end. The weird opening scene is kinda disturbing and I asked if its even necessary to go into a 'violent' mode by the young girls. The underlying potential stories of mom-daughter, Barbie-Ken and male dominated corporate patriachy lack depth to carry through the show. Its all bubbly, singing and dancing, and flex of muscles and nice legs and commercial for Mattel. Guess Openheimmer is more up my alley.

Loving every minute of the show - a grey line between innovation and morals, a question of trust and betrayal, a manifestation of lust and love, and an enigma of imperfect leadership, and hard decisions. Brilliantly directed, using light, sound, motion, and interchangable imageries. Perfect cast, a show that provokes much lingering thoughts.
