Does more heavy lifting for the over-arching 'Phase 4' of the MCU than anything we've seen from Marvel Studios thus far. Hardcore fans of the MCU and the Marvel comics will have little trouble getting to grips with the wide array of new characters we're introduced to. However, the causal cinema-goer will feel overwhelmed with the bombardment of exposition from the off, starting with a 'Star-Wars-esque' text scroll to get the viewer up to speed on concepts like Deviants and celestials. Despite being the second longest MCU movie after Avengers: Endgame, there's still a lot to cram into this 2.5hr movie. Some surprising twists and some monumental mid/post-credit scenes tee up intriguing possibilities for MCU's future.
